  • Interviewed community members, municipal government, school officials, and city planning experts to complete the Healthy Communities Checklist (HCC) and and the Promoting Active Communities (PAC) surveys in four towns in the Southeast MI area 

  • Presented the research findings and recommendations to each of the four community’s coalitions and stakeholders on how the build environment impacts people's ability

  • Utilized professional writing skills to communicate health content related to the brain through publishing four articles in the community magazine

  • Lead several social media promotion campaigns using Canva and Instagram to promote health and resources within the community

  • Responsible for managing three classes of 22 undergraduate students and weekly planning for discussion activities that further student's understanding of lecture material

  • Held weekly office hours to provide support to students who needed additional help in the course
